Bare Bus Policies

Dogs, cats, and small animals are welcome! Please contact us about exotics or bottle babies to make sure we can accommodate their needs!

1.      We accept cash, personal checks, PayPal, and major credit cards. Invoices will be sent out prior to

transport and payment is required before transport unless alternate arrangements have been made. If you need to change or cancel your booking, please notify the Bare Bus 48 hours in advance so that we have time to fill the crate.

​

 

2.     We schedule runs on demand and then fill from there. Usually we start setting up runs about a week in advance but can schedule further out on request. Please inquire either through Facebook or to our email, thebarebus@gmail.com, for current availability or to schedule a new run.

​

 

3.      All dogs, except for ill animals, newborn puppies, and immune compromised dogs, MUST have flea/tick treatment (Capstar, Bravecto, Frontline, etc) prior to transport day.

​

 

4.      Medical status of all animals must be made known to the transporter prior to transport. The Bare Bus reserves the right to refuse transport for animals that are in too poor of a condition to travel, especially if we are not informed of the condition beforehand.

​

 

5.      If you want your dog collared for the trip, you must either provide one or be assessed an additional fee of $5.00 for the Bare Bus to provide one for you. If your foster does not come to pick-up with a slip leash, one will be provided to the foster for an additional fee of $3.00. Cat fosters must bring a cat crate. If they need to take one of the Bare Bus', there will be an additional $20 charge.

6.      Our service includes a comfort stop every 4-6 hours, during which your pooch(es) will have a potty break, water refill, and snacks. Soiled bedding will be flipped or replaced at the comfort stop. Animals that are deemed a flight risk at pick-up will be handled with extra care.

​

 

7.      Checking into or picking up from vets/boarding will be assessed an additional $15 fee if the check-in takes longer than 15 minutes.
